Hosted by MarketKey, the PI Apparel Tech Review, held in New York this past June, boasted 400 brands and retailers within the fashion and footwear industries from across the globe.

This year, Byond had the privilege to present with one of the leading 3D modeling solutions for fashion & apparel in the Browzwear booth.

Why were we there?

We were all there to discuss the technologies and obstacles disrupting the industry – so perfect for us!

The main topic of discussion was, unsurprisingly, The Digital Transformation within Fashion Retail.

Notably, most people were interested in 3D Digital Transformation.

What was presented at the exhibition?

IKEA, Target and PVH, leading vendors within the industry, presented new strategies they were currently implementing, which were providing value through the digitalization processes in place. They stressed an importance on using those processes to generate an increase in sales through their e-commerce platforms.

What did we learn & achieve?

For the first time, our showroom solutions were showcased for the very first time and made waves as the next killer app for the digitized brand.

The most important takeaway of all: It’s not a question of if retailers should start transforming the show floor process, rather, its a question of when and how.

Let’s go over and byond expectations until the next event and continue to make waves…stay tuned.
